Uncool

Great UX is perfect, good UX doesn't have to be a perfection. It could look even far from perfect, and working ok though. Making a decision for user experience that isn't perfect is tough compromise, and only when it works properly and provides all its functions (but does it show reliability and supports trust). This way we can create interfaces that are good enough and usable and doesn't need redesign for many years. Sustainability of interfaces and continuation without constant updates and changes would be a sign of not a lack of tech budget or smth but habitual usability, convenience and reasonable accept. Not in trend, but works well. Alright. Advanced users aren't those who prefer only that marvelous trendy apps but those who have patience and respect for working technology.
